TicketSource is a popular event ticketing platform that allows users to create, customise, and sell event tickets.

The challenge

To enhance its services, TicketSource approached Morrow to redevelop their existing ticket-scanning app. The goal was to create a whole new cross-platform app built using the latest technologies integrated with third-party Bluetooth ticket scanners. It provided a fresh new design that matched TicketSource's brand identity.

TicketSource has a well-established user base and wanted to provide their customers with an intuitive and efficient ticket-scanning experience. They wanted the app to be user-friendly and visually appealing while meeting the unique requirements of event organisers.

The project involved understanding the needs and requirements of TicketSource's broad user base and translating them into detailed UI/UX schematics. Our team were able to utilise Expo to its full potential on this project, using it to enable a handful of key features, including the integration of third-party Bluetooth scanners, the use of over-the-air updates functionality to push app updates instantly without needing review and a streamlined app build and publishing flow through Expo Application Services.The new, improved app allows sellers to monitor allocations, bookings, and sessions and manage attendance all in one place.


